The best pedal demo ever.. by Jack Conte

I've never gotten very deep into FL. I had no idea they had vocoder plugins and such. I eventually moved "up" to reason and used cubase scarcely as it scared me. It's powerful, but overwhelming.

FL is or can easily be as advanced as any of the other music software's the greatest thing with fl over the others is that the company is not anal about its product , if you buy a license for it you also get life time free upgrades to the new versions and its cheep in first place.

Ultimately the best thing With FL is that you can produce commercial grade tracks (not hard for pop music ) within many genres very quickly.

Manny people within music and other people that I know who produce music look down at FL I think its partly because its not used to teach with at universities and its reasonably cheep + its quite young and it eveolved from something very basic to something quite advanced.

Guantanamo detainees held without charge tell their stories
they seem like Nice people .

Its still a shame that they are infected with the mental disorder of religion.
its strange that they don't realise that the irrationality that allows people to beat abuse and imprison people in camps is the same irrationality that allows them to maintain there religion.

The best pedal demo ever.. by Jack Conte
Good song, fell a bit at the 2 min mark but the majority of the song made up for that. excellent for a product demo though.

as for hard ware music devices
you can do it all with fruity loops , and have everything at hand on you pc / net book. If you spent $250 on FL pro and got some extra samples , + plug ins then downloaded all the cracking free VST,s that exists out there it almost becomes pointless buying these hard ware devices unless your an enthusiast of them.

although I like the charm of hardware devices and the tactile interaction and the history behind alot of the devices and there individual charms. interims of cost and producing high quality music and productivity it dosent really make much sence to use them , (outside of using them for the sake of using them) the only occasoin i might think it be appropriate to use them is playing live but evan then you could set up most audoi software in a live mode.

I have to admit one day id love to own a piano and maby some old school synth, but then I know id just spend ages playing with them and not saving what I do , I also know it would be an ass moving it from the device to my recording solution.

Shattered Horizon - Zero Gravity FPS
>> ^xxovercastxx:
This trailer is all I've seen of the game, but it doesn't strike me as significantly different than the realistic/tactical shooters which have plagued deathmatch for the last 10 years or so. The only difference between this and CS/CoD/FEAR/SWAT/SoF2/BF/ET/MoH is everyone is floating. Innovation in the FPS is dead and the only thing keeping the genre profitable is an overabundance of testosterone & Xbox Live.

The roasoin there are no more pure arcade shoots is because Quake 2,3 unreal tourny,2003, pretty much allow for all the variables one could passably want for arace shooters. other than changing the art style what can be done in maps and charactor mods for the latter games, there would be no real piont in relasing a fast passed shooter , that and the fact that they wont sell well on a console due to the controler method.

Its definitely the case that even tactical fps shooters have stagnated to some existent The battlefield sherries has been quite innovative and supported some quite progressive mods though.

What I think could be done and should be done is a GTA IV style game in first person , if you look at the GTA IV first person mods its actually quite remarkable. A proper first person game with realistic car physics and an inner city setting would be something really grate.

playing games in 3rd person to me makes a game feal childish and silly to some existent ( which is fine for many ganras of game) but when a game is generally realistic it seems strange to present it in 3rd person , especially as people are widely accustomed to first person on console and pc now.

The Bed Bunker - Sleep with your Guns 'Merica
lol Yah i mean if you have guns or do hunting , which personally I think is fine , its a good place to keep them.

what I thought was absurd is the amount of guns the guy had in it. also I find the mentality of using guns as protection against other people as retarded. (unless you properly live out in the sticks)

the default position of "I have a gun there for I am now safe" is sum what idiotic to me.

Bill Moyers - Single Payer Suppressed by Health Industry
the problem is the constatutoin was written in a time when it was most probably inconceivable for an individual to be making 0.1 % of a countries wealth. capitalism works incradably well when it is distributed and you have literally millions of businesses manny offering near to the same thing but all competing with each other. over the last 200 years busnisses have merged and welth has been passed down through families to the exstent that you have say 50 people esentualy incontrole of all the countries bisiness.

what you have ended up with (inadvertently) is what you had in uk where the majority of people are pesents and a couple live comfortably in there castles.

this is why you need some mechanism that redistributes wealth and reduces monetary power by given individuals .

Zero Punctuation: Washington DC
they could have edited this in a similar fassoin to ZP that way it would have been very original for a video , it would have retained the style , and it would have come across as far more witty.

the biggest fail in this is the editing.

Shattered Horizon - Zero Gravity FPS
Nice presentation visually looks different from other games. interms of game play though it would seem to me like it would play the same as forseken ore decent . unless they have parts with gravity , to me it would seem realy cool to have space bits with 0G and then when u enter space crafts u have graverty and traditional fps action.

ether way it looks interesting enough to Warrent getting , over the droves of complaty unimaginative games on the market today.
