*election08 --> *elections

I propose that we make a simple change to fix the awkwardness associated with the sudden sharp downturn in *election08 invocations and inevitable collapse to zero: change the channel to *elections and it is set forever.

I've offered this solution before, but the idea was routinely rejected. I still think this is a *quality idea, as we have plenty of videos that will surely center around other *elections in the future.

I'd be in favour
http://www.videosift.com/talk/Youve-Driven-From-the-Left#comment-540565

but the channel name can apparently not be changed..
maybe a new general *elections channel should be made, as I said " Many going on in the world:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Future_elections "
It would stimulate people to follow more elections..and e.g. the current crisis in Thailand is elections related.

Bejebus..
anything "election" is now "politics" or even worldaffairs

If someone wants to make a playlist for election related videos that would work until the next election2010 or really election2012

The number of election videos from non-election years is very (very) small.

Technically, the election08 invocation should be disabled and those in the channel are sort of legacy giant playlist.

Aye, there's no reason to rename it. It can be used as an archive.
