Given that the polls in Pennsylvania have been fairly steady during all the controversies for both campaigns, both real and manufactured, I'm guessing Hillz will take PA by 10 points, unfortunately.

I think Hillary will win, but that it will be by a smaller than expected margin, I think Hillary by 6-8 points.

I'll even put a stake in the ground futher, Obama's gonna sweep the May 6th primaries in NC and IN, with a blowout in NC (nearly 20 point), and a squeaker in IN (1-4 point).

If that happens, Obama will have crossed the point where it's mathematically impossible for Hillary to catch him in the pledged delegates, and then we'll see lots of superdelegates committing to Obama.

I doubt Hillary will stop campaigning until Obama goes well past the 2024 mark with delegates (pledged + supers publicly committed). Probably she'll wait until he's past the margin where MI & FL delegates wouldn't change anything.

Part of me thinks Jon Stewart is right, she'll be at Obama's inauguration waving a sign saying "Hillary for Pres: IT'S NOT OVER!"

Nobody can insure fairness in the corporate mechanism
Nobody, and I mean Nobody, can do a goddamn thing about the deficit....

Sadly, I share Choggie's feelings to some degree. What gives me hope about Obama is that I sense sheer terror in the media and from corporate Republicans and Democrats alike. Does this mean he is a threat to the cabal of international billionaires who control our country? I don't know, but it's the only game in town, so I'm willing to buy the lottery ticket and see what happens.

I agree that it is the masses who must force the paradigm shift, hence my avatar, but I do think a dynamic leader can give us the inspiration and institutional support we need to do so. Obama might be just the guy to do it. He has yet to be beaten down and broken by the system like McCain and the Clintons, so for the moment I'm going to indulge in hope over fear.

I think the internet is already changing the paradigm and inflicting some serious wounds on the mass brainwashing tool the is television. The internet allows us to speak freely in large numbers and to reject bullshit when we see it. In our own small way, even we here on videosift are creating our own programming, not based on ad revenue, institutional pressure or corporate profits, but rather our own values.

Call your cable company and cancel right now.

Hillary by a very small margin, I don't know about you but I think the bitter controversy was a circle jerk by the media. If enough people heard it for what exactly is, they will understand what Obama really meant. Hillary already lost, all shes doing is eroding a democratic majority win in November 2008.

This is not a war between candidates simply but a war between two very different schools of political thought, old and new. The old way is Rovian and Hillary, partisan and divided, while Obama is trying for something more uniting. So far I feel he is the only candidate that dares to speak the truth, he needs to do that more. His last debate was exhausting and he was not in his best form, I think hes not used to fighting out in the gutter like Hillary is.
