Perhaps it is time for some channel house-cleaning....anyone who abandons their channel as the code monkey(s) have it now, is able to then create another channel-in the old days, you announced the end, made calls for a caretaker, and if no one took it after 7 days(creationists)which has not happened to my recollection, it is permanently gonseville......cept' for Tay Tv- do we have a precedent???
I still like the wildwestshow, but when I saw a way I took it, like in the real world-As it is now, it is kinna loose and flimsy...
That makes 3 channels so far from choggie.....oh where is that karaidl???

I just hope the channel doesn't disappear. We might want to reflect on how stupid we were at that time, someday in the future

I think it's time for a channel roll call. Channel owners should weigh in an show they are at the very least around to address their channels.

There are some channels that do not have managers. Remember that collectives were created by people who wanted to manage them, but the channels were created for sorting purposes. Then the two were merged.

Good question. I imagine the "channel" will exist for all those videos, but maybe the checkbox will be removed for future submissions. I don't think we will need another election10 or anything until election12. And I'm 90% sure the internet will be very different in four years.

Worst case is you make all the election08 become politics (or USpolitics) which most of them are anyways and just scrub election08 out of existance.

I suppose it is up to whatever is easy for lucky, but it won't be a concern until after the next inauguration (IF there is one). I've been reading about carriers moving to the gulf, so there might be an october surprise in Iran which makes "election08" obsolete anyways. So here's hoping we even have election 2008.
