But we don't live in a traditional hunter-gatherer community. Last time I checked, humanity mostly progressed from that starting 10,000 years ago.
A HUGE, I MEAN A HUGE time of human existence was spent in hunting and gathering communities. I think it's something like if a whole day represented human existence, we have only had agriculture for the last minute. Only through this light can we really understand human behavior in an evolutionary sense. Please, do yourself a favor and take an anthropology class.
