I'm a ninja, people who take me too seriously should be shot. If I downvote, it's nothing personal I either don't find the clip amusing, or helpful. It's my mission to clean out the sift by collecting dead links. I'm sick and tired of bible bashers, atheist zealots, and Dawkins. I feel religion is a decision by the individual and not something that should be publicly ridiculed. (Unless we should start making abhorring gays and enslaving black people popular again.) But seriously lets all be grown ups and get along. I'm actually an architect, I live in Utah right now with my lovely wife. We are expecting a little addition to our family this summer. I laugh therefore I am.

Congrats you two! I'm so happy I could cry if I didn't have a heart of stone and a permanent scowl on my face.
So pull your pants up, for Christ's sake.

Awww, you do still love me. I'm glad to see your still around, even if we don't hear much from you.
Edit: and thanks for the promote.

What water buffalo?
By the way, the father of a friend of mine fell asleep on a beach in Komodo, while the rest of the group (it was a wedding party) went hiking. When they got back he was still sleeping, and there were two dragons walking up the beach towards him. They were easily scared off... but I wonder if they would have gone for the goat curry (probably) or my friend's father (more interesting) first.

I apologize, it was the wrong embed, I've changed it to the proper one.

This has got to be the wrong video.. Notice the tags referring to sepsis brought on by a dragon's bite. Wonderful creatures.

fixed, and I wish you'd stop leaving this damn form letter every time you feel like polishing my published videos. I know about your freaking playlist, and I'm acutely aware of my own dead videos.

Sorry this video is *dead. You may have others that are dead on this play list.

However whats great about Obama is that he is brilliant at a few key things which make people who recognize them very excited about his presidency. Lets see, I'll throw out three of them real fast... 1)selecting, managing and inspiring other brilliant people, 2)understanding and engaging both sides of an argument to fairly guide towards compromises that work, and 3)valuing American history, the Constitution and the founding spirit of 'anything is possible'. Towards the last point, I mean, he honestly believe he can get a huge squad of people who disagree together to form a plan to pull us safely from Iraq in 18 months, and another squad of people who disagree to form the beginnings of universal health care over the next 4 years. And, personally I think if anyone is smart enough to direct us out of this ditch, its this guy.
I loved McCain in 2000. The last 3 years have seen him doing everything he can to win votes from the people who brought us GWBushJR, which makes for exceedingly awkward choices like not signing the new GI Bill and dumbing down his opposition to secret military prisons, both for no particularly convincing reason other than thats what he's supposed to do. Its honestly hard for me to watch McCain's speeches and interviews today, because half the time he's not comfortable on the side of the argument he's putting him self, and anyone with a memory stretching back to 2000 or even 2006 will notice he's a changed man; http://www.videosift.com/video/McCain-Debates-Self-on-Bush , http://www.videosift.com/video/Washington-Bureaucrat-Predicts-USA-Politics-For-2009

That's the problem, unless we get republicans back in congress, they are going to run Obama too. He voted with his party 93% of the time. I'll admit that McCain isn't much better since he mistakes stubbornness for principal. But Peloci pushed Obama around when he was a senator and I can see her doing the same if he's elected president.
I feel like I'm trying to choose the lesser of two evils this election season. But my biggest issue with Obama is his double talk, I have no idea what he's going to do because he talks out of both sides of his mouth. He needs to find his issues and stick to them.

Confession; my car has one bumper sticker on it, and its Obama'08.
He's a smart man. There's a small possibility he could become a Nixon, but a much greater chance he'll work to get congress to bullshit around just a little less.
In reply to this comment by gorgonheap:
Thanks for the article, it was a good read. I really hope the American public can see how unstable he is before November.

He advocates energy independence but pretends this can occur without more domestic drilling for oil and natural gas.
Of course maybe that's the defining mark of a true politician, being able to speak to one side while the other hears a different message.

Ignorance is lack of knowledge.
Stupidity is lack of common sense.
BTW, i'm constantly questioning myself about a connection between those two, which leads me to assume that they're not directly binded.
(sorry about my poor english ...)
In reply to this comment by gorgonheap:
Evolution doesn't scare me, what does it when it's presented in a way that makes 'scientific minds' hold on to this, 'your stupid if you don't believe this' attitude. Please keep in mind ignorance is not the same as stupidity.
If someone doesn't understand Evolution, explain why. There's far to many 'evolutionists' who say, "why don't you believe this are you stupid?" When what they should be saying is "What part of evolution doesn't make sense to you?"
When I was in High School our science teacher spent just shy of one day on evolution. And to explore the theory of evolution takes more time then that. That's not enough time for me to see how evolution fits into my religeous beliefs or personal feelings.
Simply because someone does not know enough about evolution to make a clear analysis of it doesn't mean they are stupid. More often then not 'stupidity' is simply ignorance, and lets face it we're all ignorant about a great many things.

Well it's a cover, the song (The devil went down to Georgia) was originally sung by Charlie Daniels. Then covered in the early 90's by Primus, and later rewritten by the Toy Dolls as The Devil went down to Scunthorpe. The video is similar but the audio is completely different.
And I apologize for my abrupt and rude reply to you. I thought for a second that you automatically discarded it when it is not a dupe of another video, although the animation is repeated in the Primus version the audio is completely different.
In reply to this comment by ant:
Ah OK. I wasn't sure. They did look identical. I didn't watch the whole thing. Is the whole series like this?
In reply to this comment by gorgonheap:
No if you actually watched the videos you would know that they are not dupes

Beileve it or not VS at one time had no channels at all. But that was a long time ago.
In reply to this comment by doogle:
No channels - *wtf?
How *obscure this got on the sift without any channel assignment.
Must be that rogue helicopter pilot with his hand in the pie again. (I'm getting scared - but that's okay because it's my right.)
To me. I know, that's pretty biased.

Are you kidding? CP is the conspiracy theorist of the sift.
In reply to this comment by oxdottir:
This seems like a very strange submission from CP. I just wouldn't have imagined him buying into this Godwin's Law-riddled exposition.
